1. Rational design of the air intake and exhaust vents. Since the power unit of the generator set is an internal combustion engine, during operation of the unit,
During operation, adequate air flow is essential to ensure complete combustion in the engine and to dissipate the substantial heat generated during operation. If the ratio of intake to exhaust airflow is imbalanced, it can adversely affect the normal operation of the generator set, leading to high coolant temperatures, output power below rated levels, and other issues. Prolonged operation under high-temperature conditions will shorten the service life of the generator set.
2. Selection of sound-absorbing materials. Special acoustic cotton is used to absorb sound, thereby achieving noise reduction. Another approach, which proves particularly effective, involves combining perforated panel sound-absorbing materials with sound-absorbing cotton to treat noise.
3. Exterior structural design: The overview diagram depicts a new silent diesel generator set designed and launched by the South China Industrial Design Institute in Guangdong. This product is based on human-centered design, facilitating easy monitoring of the unit’s operating status and enabling rapid manual emergency shutdown. Air intake and exhaust volumes have been rigorously calculated, and the unit employs an integrated modular disassembly and assembly approach to simplify subsequent maintenance operations. The rounded-corner design enhances its aesthetic appeal.
